Please use the following instructions when submitting your album covers for imprinting:
• Remove the album covers and/or spines to be imprinted.
• Complete and attach a separate work order for EACH album.
• If you would like us to match another cover/spine, include it with your order.
• Be sure to include your phone number and/or e-mail address in case we have questions regarding your order.
• Write the text out EXACTLY as you would like it to appear. Use upper and lower case and underline each letter to be Capitalized.
• Specify the desired foil color.
• Circle the desired type size and style (default size will be small if large is too big for project).
• There is a 2-line maximum for any given area. Graphics may be added to these 2 lines (3 lines of text in one area will not imprint evenly, therefore is unavailable).
• Imprinting is generally limited to the areas specified in the diagram on the work order.

• Imprinting direction is limited to those shown on the diagram. Horizontal spine imprints
should be less than 1.5” long. |

Some things you should know about hot foil imprinting:
• Not all albums can be imprinted. Highly textured album covers (tapestry, denim) as well as plastic album covers cannot be imprinted. Pioneer albums CANNOT be imprinted. Please contact us regarding your albums if you are concerned. We offer a variety of metal plates that can be embossed and attached to these albums with excellent results.
• Different textures result in different imprinting quality. Albums with open-weave finishes will have a grainier imprint than those with leatherette-type (Mrs. Grossman’s) or tight weave cloth (Creative Memories) finishes. We guarantee the accuracy of our imprinting – quality will be dependent on the quality of the album being imprinted.
• Leather albums imprint beautifully, but due to oils in the leather, the imprinting foil will age over time, giving it a distressed look.
• Older albums that have been handled frequently may not imprint as well as new albums. Please wipe down older albums with a cloth to remove oily hand residue before sending. |
